ABOUT

Emma Clowsley is a Queer, neurodivergent writer, living in the heart of rural Herefordshire. Fiercely unapologetic about her unique perspective, she brings an unflinching honesty and raw humour to everything she creates, weaving her lived experience into powerful, relatable stories that resonate across audiences.

Her debut pamphlet Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush released in May 2023 by Flight of the Dragonfly, is already in its second print run, praised for its sharp wit and profound vulnerability. As Cathy Carson, Saboteur Award-winner, puts it: “Unflinchingly honest, laugh-out-loud funny, and at times profoundly relatable.”

Pushing boundaries and taking queer narratives into mainstream spaces, Emma is on a mission to foster empathy and understanding through storytelling. Whether addressing Lesbian/Queer themes or breaking down societal barriers, Emma makes waves with every word.

Bold, inclusive, and endlessly inspiring, Emma is a literary force to be reckoned with—leading with heart, humour, and an unshakeable commitment to creating space for diverse voices.
